My main project continues to be this blog, and background to this project can be found in the This blog/ger section. Including a link to an interview about the blog.

Zines & Pamphlets

One of the fun projects of this blog, when I have time, is making pamphlets or zines of some of my favourite short texts. This section is currently very small but I hope it will grow over time and include many more interesting texts on a wider range of subjects. I also hope that it will include some more original material. So, watch this space!

The wikipedia project is an ongoing effort amongst conservators to improve content on wikipedia that is associated with conservation-restoration. Crista Pack, Richard McCoy and I issued a call for assistance in the project. I personally envision the aim to be to develop the pages enough so that a conservation portal can be developed, that will provide a useful ‘one stop shop’ for both professionals and the public to be able to locate more information about conservation and restoration. As well as a place to develop projects such as Wikipedia Saves Public Art!

I had published a book review and a peer reviewed article in e-conservation, and I had interviewed e-conservation for this blog, when I was invited to become a collaborator in the project. As regular readers of the ‘dan cull weblog’ will be aware I am a fan and supporter of open access publishing and I am proud to be able to take part in one of the most interesting publishing projects in contemporary conservation.
