Government Responds to TCC Closure

The Prime Minister’s Office has responded to a petition and you can view it here:
Apparently, the future safeguarding of British cultural heritage is not a big enough concern for the PM to intervene in the internal runnings of a university… oh well, no great surprise there.
This is ridiculous, and incredibly sad, if the UK looses the TCC completely it will be a loss to the country and the world, the TCC has produced some of the finest textile conservators in the world, and has an excellent international reputation, there is no way it should be lost to the dictates of the Market.
